Among our +100 projects for insurance giant Aetna is the Aetna Hartford Conference Center. This space is located between the original historic Rogers Building and the new “Atrium” building.

The project consisted of:
– Conference center 101 (a very large multi-function space with a vestibule)
– Training room A114
– Training room B115
– Conference rooms A102 & B103
– Digital signage in break area 112
– Four door side displays, room 100 (vestibule) and training rooms 114 and 115

The new conference center features a 300-person, multi-function room featuring a large presentation wall with a DLP projector hidden in a ceiling feature. In addition to the main feature wall, four 70″ monitors are placed on side walls to support viewers from round tables and also breakout sessions. The side monitors have separate inputs and control panels for local control when needed.

The large multi-function room utilizes an encrypted wireless microphone system with boundary and lavalier microphones. There are floor boxes at the front of the space for a portable lectern in addition to the ability to set up a panel table for “town hall” meetings. All audio and video signals tie back to the video studio for streaming and recording capability.

The training rooms and conference rooms are based on an Aetna standard with enhanced finishes to match the rest of the conference center. Door side scheduling displays are used for meeting scheduling and information.

The digital signage monitor in the breakroom displays Aetna branding content from a media player located in a recessed back box behind the monitor.
